American model Amanda Moore was born on 10 September 1979 in Idaho in the United States. As the child of a military father, Moore’s family moved often. She was mainly raised by her father and older brother. Moore attended various schools, but she went to high school in Florida. A prodigy, she completed high school and started college at age 15. Originally, she wanted to be a veterinarian, and she enjoyed playing basketball. However, a friend talked her into going to a local model scouting event, and Moore became interested in modelling. She later went to Orlando for a larger event, where she impressed many agents. Originally, she was represented by NEXT Model Management, but today, she is represented by IMG Models.
