In order to get around the cost, some people resort to buying knock-offs. Even though some knock-off pair of jeans look nearly identical to the authentic ones, most are pretty bad. And anyone that is serious about their denim can tell the difference either way.

Luckily, there is a much better way to get REAL discount designer jeans. You can find absolutely incredible deals online if you know where to look. The thing is, many people pay full price for designer jeans and only wear them a couple times, or in some cases they just don’t fit. Those same people end up selling them online for huge discounts.

Auction sites like Ebay are a great place to look. Craigslist also often has some really great finds in the clothing and accessories section, but that sort of varies depending on how big your city is. Obviously cities like Los Angeles and New York with huge, style-obsessed populations are more likely to have a variety of listings!

Another great resource is Upscale Jeans, a site that brings together designer jean auctions from the around the world and lists them by designer. There is also tons of helpful sizing info. Take a look around and see if you can find your “perfect pair”!

It’s always nice to have a few essential designer pieces when you want to splurge. Especially on a nice dress or exceptional pair of shoes. As all woman, I have a few of my own personal favorite designer shoes. And so should you. I chose shoe designer Cynthia Vincent, for her vibrant and forthright designs. And bold colors.
Now who doesn’t love David Yurman. Now if you want to get that designer look, without the designer cost. Then go for a pair of ‘David Yurman inspired’ aquamarine earrings. They look just as great! And for only $39.00, I think I will have to get a pair myself.
Now even though it is still winter in some parts of the world, spring is just a few months away. So it’s always great to have that ’spring’ dress ready. I chose a classic Mara Hoffman dress. And it looks great with those ruffle sleeve accents.

I love the fall! As it is a really fun time to get your hats on! Now if you already have a nice selection of hats. Then it won’t be too much for you to add a few more hats to your collection. Or if you don’t have any at all for the season change. I have made some wonderful suggestions for you. From the top we have the classic Burberry hat. In their classic signature check pattern which retails at $146.25. You can buy this classic British hat from any of your local Nordstrom, Saks or Nieman Marcus locations. Or even specialty designer boutiques will carry most designer lines such as Burberry. Remember to add that classic Burberry scarf to the mix! Two of of my other choices are both hats from the Juicy Couture collection. Again very functional and fun, these hats are affordable and also look great. Go for the classic wool beret which a nice bow detail. Or stay casual with their skull caps, which are a designer bargain at only $55.00. Match that up with their scarves and gloves. You will be looking Juicy Couture in no time. And to finish this round of hats. I chose Missoni as my last pick. Fun, functional and always colorful. A Missoni Intarsia-patterned hat in knit wool blend, will fit the ticket for all you colorful fashionistas out there.

Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying designer brands. On the contrary, it is a discovery into ones personal style, taste, and of course our personal ticket into fashion. Now upon closer review, a few of my favorite brands (and I am quite sure yours too). Are Marc Jacobs, Chloè, and of course that priceless accessory – the diamond. But my choice today are Deco diamonds.

Yet another reason to love Target…once again, the Go! International line will bring the masses high fashion at affordable prices with a line from Thakoon due out this December. I’m still kicking myself for missing some of the pieces designed by Erin Fetherston, but I’m not going to miss this one.

Thailand native turned American designer Thakoon Panichgul has created a striking line for Target consisting of airy and feminine dresses and tops in batik and floral prints. Though I have to question the timing (sundresses in December?) I’m still super excited about this release. The one dress in particular that I am just ogling over is around $40, and even though I probably won’t wear it until well after March, I’ll keep it forever.

Thakoon’s Spring 2008 Line

I think that Thakoon’s Target line pretty closely resembles what he has presented on the runway, which is even more exciting. Though he’s relatively still a newcomer in the fashion world, stars like Rachel Bilson and Sarah Jessica Parker snap up his stuff, making him an instant success.
